In loving memory of my dad francis burns 1948/2005 loving husband to Betty and loving father to Elizabeth-Thomas-Caroline-Christine-Stephen granda to eleven grand children taken from us very quickly due to lung cancer.
He was brought up in rawyards airdrie with his mother katie father thomas he had 4 brothers and 5 sister an normal loving family,he worked as a labourer all his days he lived for his family and adored his grand children very much,to the world he was francie but to us he was our world a father and husband with a golden heart is very hard to find.
He taught as all we know today and to see good in everyone,he was a special teacher one in a million to find,he was loved by all who new him expecially in the rams head on a friday night laughing, jocking and singing until the early morning light.
He was well knowing for his lovely strawberry tart and baking that he love to make and in the summer he was the best cook at the family barbaques, he was always there when we needed him no task to great or small with a loving heart and a willing hand you did so much for us all.
Only god knows why he had to leave us but he did not go alone for part of us when with him the day god called him home.
We do not need that awful day to come to remember who he was in our homes his name is always spoken and he is always in our thoughts for your family are the ones who love you and you,re memory will never fade as we have it in a safe place deep within our hearts
